This project began when Temple Shir Tikva outgrew its converted restaurant building and commissioned the design of a phased expansion. A 13,500 SF sanctuary, social hall, and foyer addition was built in front of the existing building which was converted to classrooms and offices. The sanctuary, social hall, and foyer can be used as separate spaces or opened as a single room. The congregation grew rapidly and a 26,500 SF education facility, replacing the original restaurant building, was completed six years later. The first floor contains five nursery school classrooms, a chapel/meeting room, and the temple administrative center. Located on the second floor are eight religious school classrooms, a library, and offices.
